The Notre Dame Police Department Event Parking and Traffic Management asks all members of the campus community to review guidelines for gameday parking.

  • Students parked on campus must relocate their vehicles to one of the following parking areas prior to 5:00 a.m. gameday Saturday:

    • Rugby Student Lot, Wilson Student Lot, Lake Student Lot, Bulla Student Lot, or Fischer Graduate Residence Lot (F permit required in this lot). If you leave campus on gameday, you are not guaranteed parking on campus until two hours after the game.

  • Students may also park in the Blue Lot (off Douglas Road) on gameday beginning at 8:00 a.m. There is no cost for parking in Blue North with a valid student permit. Shuttles are available to campus.

  • Faculty and staff parking is available in the Blue Lot (off Douglas Road) on gameday beginning at 8:00 a.m., or in the Bulla Student Lot. There is no cost for parking in the above areas with a valid faculty/staff permit displayed. Shuttles are available to campus.

Vehicles parked after 5:00 a.m. on gamedays in any lot not designated as an approved student or faculty/staff gameday parking area will receive a citation and will be transferred to another location on campus at the owner's expense.

General gameday parking information:

  • Parking is prohibited on campus after 5:00 a.m. on the Saturday of each home football game without a football parking pass. Vehicles left unattended in an event parking lot will be towed prior to the posted parking lot opening time.

  • All event parking lots open at 8:00 a.m.

  • Overnight parking is prohibited in all event parking lots.

  • Tailgating in the Lake Lot is strictly prohibited.

Vehicles must exit all event parking lots after the football game is over. The Burke Lot closes two hours after the game concludes. All other lots close three hours after the game ends.
