Sustainability

The Notre Dame Sustainability Team partners across the institution to advance strategic initiatives with a focus on Catholic social teaching’s connection to sustainability. While the University's focus on care for our common home is already evident via existing initiatives such as our decarbonization process, the Sustainability Team supports ongoing opportunities by convening cross-functional teams to work toward common goals such as resource conservation, greenhouse gas emissions reduction in the face of climate change, and increased awareness of sustainable practices. The Sustainability Team also supports sustainability reporting, metrics, benchmarking, and engagement opportunities.  Learn more at green.nd.edu.
