Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management coordinates the University's emergency preparedness and response planning efforts.
Global Safety & Security
Global Safety & Security ensures comprehensive health, safety, security risk management, and crisis support to all Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff studying, conducting research, or traveling internationally; as well as all overseas University operations and physical locations.
Notre Dame Fire Department
The University of Notre Dame Fire Department (NDFD) is dedicated to the preservation of life and property and the promotion of fire safety through public education, inspections, and fire protection system maintenance.
Notre Dame Police Department
The University of Notre Dame Police Department (NDPD) is a fully authorized police agency dedicated to providing exceptional services that promote a safe and well-ordered environment for our community. NDPD oversees the following areas: crime prevention and safety, emergency preparedness, parking services, campus ID card and access control, and the lost and found.
Risk Management and Safety
The Risk Management & Safety Department is dedicated to providing quality service and professional advice in the areas of safety, occupational health, environmental protection, and risk management.
